What Causes Allergies?

Allergens (what causes allergies) are various. For example, respiratory allergy caused by inhalation and food. Allergies in children are primarily caused by food, while in adults, food is not the dominant factor. Other allergens are inhaling pollen, animal dander, mite on pillows and mattresses are made from cotton.

Besides the above allergens there is also referred to as trigger allergies. In contrast to the above allergens in the form of objects (object), allergic triggers more in the form of non-object, for example:
  • Weather such as cold, heat, rain
  • Condition of the body such as: fatigue, crying, laughing, excessive exercise, hormonal balance disorders
  • Psychological factors such as stress, sadness and fear
Triggering allergy factors and allergens are related. If these two factors simultaneously experienced the more likely we are infected allergies. For example, if we consume food allergens but no allergy trigger factors, it is unlikely we will be affected by allergies.
There is one more factor that trigger allergies we can not ignore, Infection.

It can be concluded that the factors that cause allergies include:

  • Genetic factors (heredity)
  • Immunity digestive tract
  • Direct contact with the allergen.
